    Nordiska Kompaniet

    Josef Sachs founded Nordiska Kompaniet in 1902 with a clear ambition. The NK department store was to be a commercial and cultural theatre—a stage for the present time. The doors to the store on Östra Hamngatan in Gothenburg opened in 1971 and have been a part of the city’s landscape for over 50 years.

     No matter what happens at NK, the department store is known for always being a step ahead. You can find our Newport store on the ground floor.
